By using HalalBe you accept the terms below. This is our first version and will be updated as the platform grows.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and the security of your password. Only our support team can change your account type (member/business) — just reach out to us to request it.

Reviews and content

• Your reviews must be based on your genuine experience and must not be misleading.
• Reviews containing insults, discrimination or spam will be removed.
• Newly written or edited reviews go through staff approval before being published.
• You may write or edit a review for a given venue at most twice per day.

For business owners

You are responsible for the accuracy of the venue information you add (address, business hours, halal certificate). Venues with false or misleading information may be rejected or taken down by staff.

Prayer spaces

The list of prayer spaces is added by our staff. You can report incorrect or outdated information to us using the "report" button; corrections are made after your report is reviewed.

Right to moderate

We reserve the right to remove or restrict, without prior notice, any content or account we find in violation of these rules.

Limitation of liability

HalalBe does not independently verify the halal certification of listed venues; this information is provided by business owners and through user reviews. We recommend doing your own research before visiting a venue.
